Our Mission
Ventura Adult and Continuing Education prepares diverse learners with academic, vocational, and technological competencies for the global workforce.
Our Philosophy
Ventura Adult and Continuing Education is founded on the belief that knowledge is the key element of life. The more that is known about a subject, the more it can be enjoyed, pursued, accepted, or defended. Recognizing that adult learning patterns and needs must be addressed in sensitive and responsible manners, the training programs have been designed to be comprehensive, supportive, and flexible. The staff of Ventura Adult and Continuing Education is dedicated to meeting each individual student’s academic and vocational needs and to the development of self-worth through education.

The VUSD In-Person Learning and Safety Plan is available online. Aquí hay un enlace a la versión en español del Plan de Aprendizaje y Seguridad 2021-22. The Ventura Unified School District has developed a 2021-2022 resource website that will serve as the hub of District information as it relates to guidelines and resources for the 2021-22 school year. These two documents will be updated throughout the academic year to keep you informed as guidance from the State and local public health departments change.
